Have you always been curious about 3-gun matches, but a little too nervous to enter one of the “BIG” matches? Sound familiar? Well we’ve got the perfect beginner 3-gun match for you! Race gunners need not apply…lol.
Zombie hunters armed with handguns, shotguns and rifles, will head to Bracken Firing Range on the N.E side of San Antonio on July 22, 2015 for a battle against the “undead” in the 3-Gun Zombie Apocalypse Fun Shoot match brought to you by Tactical Safety Institute® / Bracken Guns® and Bracken Range. This is a veteran sponsored event geared specifically towards the beginner 3-gun enthusiast that want to have some fun!
Missing a gun? No Problem! Gun rentals will be available at $30.00 “per firearm” needed. Rent all three as a package for $75.00. Ammunition will also be available on-site for purchase (only if needed).
It’s safe to say that you will be shooting plenty of ammo (50+ targets) from three different weapons systems: Shotgun, handgun, and rifle, while navigating through three different apocalypse stages. And of course there is only one way to take down the undead…you MUST shoot them in the head! The shooter with the fastest final time (after penalties) wins…super simple. Keep in mind that this is a FUN shoot; so SMILE and HAVE FUN.
There will be two categories of shooters: Limited (stock guns) and Open (Tricked out guns). We will have winners in several categories. Don’t be shy either. We encourage you to dress up in your best zombie killing attire. Remember, this is a FUN match.
We will begin at approximately 5:30 PM and the event should last approximately 2-3 hours.
